Inspiration session work There's no right way to inspire someone. To begin, the process often is simply getting to know each other, although occasionally, the process seems begin by instantly falling out with each other! Some of my best work has been that way... Sparky, feisty, trouble all the way through, but effective.
There'll be some straightforward stuff: who you are, why you need something extra to achieve orbit, what's stopped you so far. A lot of talking, but not the focussed discussion of the therapy or coaching session. Once past the basics, a wide ranging discussion: life, experiences, adventures, tales.
Through this, I will find my windows, my ways of getting into your soul, my way of helping you become inspired, reach creativity, reach into adventure. Or overcome your fears, unseen or otherwise, begin to lead you (or push you) into embracing them, begin to make them work for you.
If there is a very specific or practical focus, our work may reflect this: I have worked alongside sculptors in their workshops, I have modelled for painters, I have sat with entrepreneurs getting through a difficult stage with their businesses.
For some, these meetings are intense and long, as with my coaching and therapy practice, for others, casual and relaxed meetings work better. I have no set ways to work, no formula. Here I am your peer, a friend with the right characteristics and some useful skills to help you bounce around the world you way you need to.
Trust, rapport, support, fun, delight in achievement, pushing into scary areas, celebrating steps forward, celebrating great things, this is the substance of my inspiration work.
