How and Where
Meetings are rich in body language and direct empathy. I work in Nice, around the Riviera, and make regular trips to Paris and London.
Phone and e-mail need greater focus on the words rather than the body language. It leads to slower but steady work, less exciting, more of a challenge to establish the rapport and the empathy, but still very valid.
A good compromise if you are elsewhere in the world is to take a short
break here in the south of France to get the work started, and then
follow up by e-mail or phone.
